Bananas is a TV series from America showcasing stand-up comedians working the clean comedy circuit today. The show is described on the website as being "family friendly" and you could definitely sit down with the family and view without fear of being offended. Each DVD is hosted by LA comedian Thor Ramsay and is filmed before a live audience. Interspersed throughout the live segments of the show are interviews and features with the guest comedian. On this particular DVD we are treated to Nazareth. Nazareth was born in Israel, raised in Kuwait and since 1984 has lived in the USA. Nazareth gives us an outsider's view of various situations faced in everyday life in the US. From the problems experienced getting a doctor's appointment, travelling through customs, how Disney has had a decreasing affect on his finances and his observations on body piercing. The jokes are more aimed at an American market but don't let this stop you watching and having a good chortle too. The DVD also includes some extended extras where we can get to see and hear more of the featured performer.
