Omasan is based at House On the Rock in Wembley but recorded this album with producer David Mukalazi in London, mixing and mastering it in Kampala, Uganda. Omasan has a good voice and the album is packed with songs that are designed to inspire the believer by reminding them who they are and who God is. Songs like the upbeat "Without Faith" and "I Will Sing Praise" standout because they are upbeat and celebratory. The majority of this album is at a slower pace and while it's fine, a little more variety might have worked. The messages of "Not Second Best", "No Matter What I'll Stand" and "Have I Told You" all contain inspiring messages but like most of this album suffer from too sparse and unimaginative a production for them to connect with a wide audience. Ministering live, I'm convinced that the strength of her voice and power of her personality will move a crowd but on CD, there's something missing.
