Wrapping up the band's trilogy of EPs, 'Society' continues with the sound that has come to define the international trio. Taken on its own, 'Society' showcases five different songs penned by the band themselves along with an impressive guest list of co-writers including Kristian Stanfill and Paul Baloche. Running through all of the songs is a haunting, echoing sound that surrounds you with lyrics that boldly declare praise and yet whisper an intimate desire for a connection to God. This is an EP that doesn't show off and isn't over-produced though it is a project which will have an impact on the casual listener as well as the music director looking for new songs to lead on a Sunday. "As For Me" is one of only two songs written by all the band members, along with Hillsong's Mia Fieldes, and is a rooftop belter. Fans of Delirious? may be surprised when they listen to "God You Are My God" as this isn't a re-recording of the classic song but instead features a chant-like chorus that rings in the memory long after the final note fades with verses that instill a sense of God and infinity.
