Pure are a Liverpool-based theatre and music ministry who've been around since September 2003. Tamsin Evans, along with other band members Greg Schofield, Tim Anderson, Dan Anderson and Daniel Jones, here release their album debut with the intention of communicating important issues to youth. "Surround Me" beckons those who are lost to where the answer lies and the message of hope continues with songs such as "Cry Out" and "Rain". "No Compromise" suggests clear devotion and nestles well within the album's overall message for not only youth but for all. The album finishes with "Shine" featuring a message that all is not lost and that "a ray of light soaks through the dark". With clean pop production throughout 'No Compromise' is a fine first release with some engaging, cleverly written songs that will connect with a younger audience.
