Reviewed by T A Sutherland

A well known LA artist who's been gettin' his rhyme on for some time being a key member of the prolific Tunnel Rats family who've massively effected the whole scene. After sustained listening, this album proves to be a veritable box of delights, being eclectic and diverse throughout, covering many styles and preferences. The gritty auto biog "Life Surprises/Anytime Anywhere" are harrowing tales of a tragic gun fight tinged with some really poignant poetic imagery. The "let's stay together" sentiment of "Let Go" is a fresh touch. Then there's the mellow urban jazz flavoured "Wiggle"....The soulish "carry you away" vibe of "Street Chronicles". Too much to mention, go get!

T A Sutherland is a teacher by day, writer/artist by night. Heavily into languages (Gaelic, Hebrew), jazz, hip hop and Benedictine spirituality. He lives in Sunderland.
