"I'm a rock artist, but I love to worship," says the gutsy, passionate and impacting new signing to the Gotee roster and I for one am glad she's kept her worshipper's heart. With a style that slips in somewhere between Sheryl Crow and Joan Osborne, this is breathtakingly mature for a singer who's been steadily building up a following as an independent act. 'Take Me Away' is full of great songs. The title cut, with its anthemic chorus of full on abandon, will surely be resounding from Cross Rhythms radio before too long while on the driving "Matter Of Time" you catch the goosebumps-inducing visceral power of Sarah's voice as she sings a song about praising God in the tough situations life throws at us. In Sarah's press kit TobyMac writes, "Sarah's voice and passion woke me out of an A&R slumber." It'll do the same for jaded music fans wondering where all the guts and emotion has gone from Christian music.
