This album is different. It stands somewhere between hardcore and raw punk. The intense screaming vocals of hardcore but the music pushes it down the road to punk. Fast-paced, with tight musicianship, and the ability to be slightly progressive, with tempo changes and the like, which will attract some and put others off. They address some relevant topics, like bereavement, pollution, pornography, hardened hearts, musical creativity, racism, failure - the name Soapbox is apt! I think this is creative stuff, appealing mainly to fans of hardcore.
