Spoken Groove are an alternative acoustic duo from Texas who were something of a hit at this year's Soul Survivor, no mean feat for an act who've yet to get a Christian retail release in the UK. This, their latest independent project, is a delight. If you've never heard them, these prophet iconoclasts offer an acoustic rock 'n' roll, funky white boy dancing, slam-poetry kind of schtick which isn't quite like anything you've heard before and must have the conservative gatekeepers of US Christian radio scratching their heads. If you thought Christian poetry stopped with people with Liverpudlian accents this challenging, entertaining and occasionally madcap fusion will delight you. Here's hoping a record label has the courage to take Peter Nevland and Paul Finley on soon.

Wow, what a review, fantastic writing - and they are not wrong! The duo are awesome, inspiring and entertaining. The CD is fantastic, but live they are something else! You need to see the man leap around and express! Its awesome - bring on that record label!
