This album comes with quite a pedigree. The song "In Your Love" won Best Praise And Worship Song 2005 at the Australian Gospel Music Awards. After listening carefully to that song here one can only assume that Hillsong, Planetshakers, et al weren't being considered by the judges as there's nothing particularly special about the song from this Adelaide band, despite a snappy pop rock arrangement. Elsewhere, you've got pretty decent guitar-driven, groove-based rock with female singer Georgii Staben taking most of the lead vocals. At times the effect is a bit like mid period Phatfish when they were pitching for a CCM hit and certainly the production from Dave Ross has plenty of punch. What are clearly missing though are truly memorable melodies. Even after two plays nothing registered to suggest that this band would be on the next plane over to Nashville to make the CCM big time.
