To do this tape critical justice would involve fully describing the sheer spiritual impact this album had on me. This New Zealand-born project is a collection of carefully-arranged worship tunes taken from assorted moments in time and played on piano and keyboards. I felt God's presence from begining to end. The lyrics are printed out for home worship and one can sing along or just sit and be still with God. Stephen Bell Booth's playing is constantly masterful, unpredictable enough to avoid monotony, controlled enough to avoid breaking the listener's train of thought and, thanks to David Garratt's excellent production, free of those uncomfortable "modernisms" which contemporary praise and worship music is so often littered with. Only the use of a tinkly, clavichord-like keyboard occa­sionally broke in to spoil things, a bit too Mother Goosey for me, hence the lack of a fifth star. Listen to Timeless' for art's sake and you will be bored. Listen for the purpose intended and you cannot fail to be moved
