12 tracks of carefully crafted pop from the ex-Playing For Keeps member. The fact that Stuart is registered blind needs mentioning, if only to recognise the achievement of his musical prowess. Almost a solo album, the keyboard-based music reveals sensitivity and carefully-polished skills. Some exciting keyboard sounds and effects with his flexible and lively vocal style communicates Elwin's songs in a thoroughly professional style. On the subject of the man's songs, he really does turn out very neat, commercial material with nice touches of humour, music that twists and turns compellingly. Songs like "Come With Me" are likely to drive you pleasantly mad with their friendly insistence. Very enjoyable, again full credit to the good folks at Plankton.
