Tarralyn was introduced to gospel audiences with the WoW Gospel 1999 album though this soulful voiced diva has been singing for many a long year, being sought out by industry heavy weights Clive Davis and Teddy Riley, who tried to persuade her to cut a mainstream R&B album. Happily God won. Very polished performance from an artist who only this year was doing the conference circuit at Oral Roberts University, sharing the stage with artists such as Kirk Franklin and Nancey Jackson and speakers Kenneth Copeland and Bishop TD Jakes. This CD has the usual mix of uptempo beats alongside smooth, sweet soul - nothing too radical. At only 20 years of age there is no doubt that she will progress up the ladder of gospel R&B. Without touching the heights of true originality, this is a slickly produced album from a lady with a great voice, something for everyone.
