This London-based gospel singer set himself the challenging task of covering songs from American CCM hitmakers like inspirational balladeer Ray Boltz on his classic "The Anchor Holds" and Texas pop-rockers MercyMe and their "Word Of God Speak" alongside other tracks such as "Your Grace And Mercy" and "Touch Your People Again". Unfortunately, Terrence's covers aren't in the same league as the originals and personally this recording just doesn't do it for me. Overall I just feel 'Gospel Favourites' lacks any real spark or imagination to capture the listener, especially when there is so much quality contemporary gospel music available nowadays.

People say that gospel music is old fashioned and out of date but Terrence Blackman brings it back to life.

I have never really listened to Gospel Music before and thanks to Terrence its my favourite CD. He sings with his heart and communicates high quality music to the listener.

If you want to listen to high quality gospel music or have never heard gospel music before I recommend Terrence Blackman and his album.
