As hip-hop aficionados will know, William Branch (aka The Ambassador) was a founder member of those hop-hop evangelists Cross Movement. Here he amasses 15 years experience in the field of ministry through urban music to present a concept album which undertakes to lead us through a walk we must all have if we are to understand God our Father more. It reflects the truth that there comes a point in our relationship with Jesus that we have to stop being infants and settle our minds into biting off a little more meat, spiritually speaking. This album explains that transition and the cost and joy that is involved within it. The enchanting use of synths and orchestral backing compliments the fully charged beats making them one cohesive sound. The tracks, all 17 of them, can be heard in one chunk because they are that good. There is a rainbow of sounds within the album, so you can enjoy the emotional experience that the music evokes as well as knowing you are in good hands with this Philadelphia rapper/pastor. This artist's rap delivery is maturing like good wine, he keeps perfect time and his longevity as a credible artist is testimony in itself that this man's music is more than fine. All in all, a brilliant album that pulls no punches, takes no prisoners and wants nothing more than you to grow. Jesus all day baby!
