Ever come across the phrase "every home-should have one". Well I think I've found therecord it was said about. This is American gospel at its peak - melodies that after one play are firmly embedded in the memory bank, semi-devotional lyrics that convey simple truths but aren't in themselves simplisĀtic and a production warmer than a duvet on a winter's night. A track by track listing wouldn't do the album justice as there are more peaks than the Himalayas, with every track, yes every track, ministering in its own way. "Colors Of Your Love" and "Be Your Guest" have harmonies straight out of the Heavenly Host praise book and are superb worship songs. Ever tried to drive with one hand raised? You've really got to listen to it to believe just how classy this album is. I haven't come across an LP that has this much inspiration and Ministry locked within its songs for a long, long time and the Archers faith and commitment shines brighter than a skip full of glow worms in a coalmine. Buy a copy, give it away and then buy another, because it deserves to be huge-songs, from the heart for the heart.

This cd marks 20 years of recording music for the Archers;
released in March 1991. I love this whole cd totally!! I
recall hearing ccm radio play "Run To YOU" and "I Love YOU,
LORD" at the time of cd release;the latter song was written
by Geoff & Becky Thurman: Geoffrey wrote Amy Grant's 1984
"JEHOVAH".
Steve sings lead on "Run to YOU" and Janice takes the lead
on "I Love YOU, LORD". The cd title is such a
beautiful recording; Janice and Steve duet on this #.
BTW, "Run to YOU" was written by Shawn Craig (right before
he was 1/3 of Phillips, Craig & Dean). CCM vet
Kelly Willard co-wrote the masterpiece "Beneath YOUR Blood"
with top songwriter Claire Cloninger. The trio records this
song as only they can, top notch!
Thank you Kelly & Claire for a GOD-sent song!
CCM artist Michael James Murphy co-wrote the upbeat
"Be Our Guest". I just love "All Because YOU Love Me"
the tempo is amazing; this is great ccm style; they deliver
this song at its best! Great job all! The talented producer
Jonathan David Brown produced this cd, among the many ccm
artists he has already produced; to include Twila Paris. In
the liner notes Jonathan recalls his early years meeting the
Archers.
Great job on production Jonathan for this recording!
