However hard I try, I can’t shake off the suspicion that this girl foursome were signed to a US label, and given a big budget production and expensive publicity push, as an unimaginative corporate answer to the hugely successful Point Of Grace. But whether that’s true or not, there’s no denying these lasses make a pleasant, classy sound as they run through a set of funky pop cuts and inspirational ballads from some of Nashville’s finest songsmiths (John & Dino Elefante, Regie Hamm, Ty Lacy and Britain’s very own Chris Eaton). Strong lead vocals, good hooky songs (though more geared to the stuff you hear on American Christian radio than what connects with UK listeners) and recommended to those who don’t mind their inspiring Christian pop being a tad faceless.
