Another new American band who sound more than a bit like a British one, full of jangly guitars, harmonies on the hooks and sly retro references to decades of British pop. American Brit pop gospel has, of course, already given us All Star United and maybe this Kentucky-based foursome can find popularity here too if they come and tour. Certainly !he sound is bright and effervescent, the lyrics punch home their spiritual messages (I particularly liked the opener about the end of the world "Not With A Bang") and I suspect if I heard several of these on the radio I'd be whistling them by the end of the week.
