The Neverclaim are a six-man band from Portland, Oregon, with their self-titled Essential Records debut although they have had other releases on a different label. Lead singer Jeremiah Carlson has a distinctive tone which complements the band's southern US rock music approach which is not unlike Third Day. The opening track "Revival" announces the album to the listener with a polished and emotional declaration of stirring within the soul for God's outpouring and other tracks such as the pulsating "One Truth One Life" and emotional "Enthroned On High" add to the worshipful atmosphere even though this is not a live album. The pinnacle of the journey is met with the wonderfully crafted "Burn" which evocatively paints a heartfelt cry for our hearts to be on fire for the purpose of God. Clearly a band on the way to establishing a national reputation.
