With some top Scottish pop names helping out on the sessions and top quality studio recording, this is an excellent pop/rock debut from a band who made an unexpected and unannounced appearance at Cross Rhythms festival last year. The standout track is the mid-tempo rocker "Escape From Christian City", written by the highly talented John Cassie (remember Curam?), taking an unflinching look at the hypocrisy and religiosity in our churches. The opening ballad and the cover of "Love Machine" on this three-song EP are pretty strong too. A band to watch out for in the future.
