Moody, atmospheric, late-night kind of music gets me every time – maybe it’s the romantic in me that longs to listen to this kind of album when the lights are low and I’m with the one I love.  A close collaborator with BeBe and CeCe Winans, Tim Bowman cut the musical mustard with this offering – an album of sublime soothing mainly instrumental tracks with Tim plucking away at his guitar.  And the boy can play!  Seems too that he’s the brother of Vickie Winans so he comes from talented stock!  Vickie makes a special appearance on “The Only One”, a vibey up-beat mainly instrumental track which purrs along nicely.  Her vocal capacity comes to the fore on the gospel-influenced, bluesy “Lord Move The Mountain” – betcha can’t listen without a lot of foot-tapping (in a laid back sort of way, of course!).  Sensitive and capturing the mood perfectly, Tim knows how to play his instrument to its full advantage.  “The Journey Home” slows the pace down nicely and opens with a lilting sax with Tim’s guitar flitting in between, the two complementing each other beautifully.  The sax makes an appearance throughout the album and sits on Tim’s guitar bits with comfort and ease.  If you like midnight music in the style of Allen & Allen or the gentler side of keyboardist Ben Tankard, you can’ miss this!
