This two track single constitutes the first release from Chinese Christian rockers Titus for five years and, on the strength of this the Tyneside three piece have improved with age. Both songs - "Wonderful Life" and "Take Me Away" - are a feast of pacey dynamic rock and Matthew Ng's driving guitar and the thumping bass of lead vocalist Pak Chum would see the band fight their corner amongst the plethora of mainstream guitar bands out there today. To the trained ear, the lyrics of both tracks certainly point towards the band's relationship with God but are generic enough to appeal to believer and non-believer alike. And, with Pak Chum on fine vocal form, no one can doubt the sincerity and sheer passion of the band's delivery regardless of whether or not something spiritual is taken from their songs. One can only hope a full album is on its way.
