It's difficult to imagine who this cassette will appeal to. The opening track, "Night", sounds like a weedy After The Fire outtake (circa 1979) and this is followed by "Good Morning Blues" which is perfectly acceptable until a Roland keyboard and ghastly pre-programmed drums all but drown out the nifty guitar picking and very weak vocals. Indeed, 1979 is the year for "Spirit Of The Lord" uses Dylan's "God Gave Names To All The Animals" from 'Slow Train Coming' as its basis, and "Wake Up Sleeper!" is simply an ill-considered mess. I could go on, but that would be unfair for this is a labour of love. 'Survive Another Day' should have been entitled "Survive Another Song'. Noble intentions do not make good music necessarily, and unless cliched Bible lyrics (again circa 1979) are your thing, this really isn't worth listening to.
