The Ohioan's debut album is a fine and diverse collection of songs which although light pop musically carry a much deeper message. They'd be good to dance to but will find a place at home or in the car where you want to listen and contemplate lyrics too. The first track "Don't Let Go" is a radio-friendly upbeat party tune and serves well to illustrate the point made above - full-on EDM which talks about issues we have as Christians as we move on further in our walk with the Lord. "Don't Let Go" has more of a summery vibe while "Did You Know" starts out with an ambient groove in a minor key and talks about the fact that no matter how far we try to get away from God he is always there. This breaks down to some rapping by Tommy, proving he is no slouch as an MC either, in which resolutely states to God, "I don't need anyone to complete me, all I want is you." The album closes out with a dark brooding piano ambience in "Hope Right Now", pointing to a hope in God even if the world appears to be a dark and hostile place. "We don't need material things/We don't need physical things/We don't need anything/We need hope right now." Indeed, this is the life of the saint.
