The very nature of this release means it's not really intended to be critiqued by a music reviewer, however, I will say that I did find the meditations calming and accessible (although they are obviously not meant to be played through in one sitting). The recordings are suitably clear, while the sung and spoken words of the psalms and canticles are easy to distinguish. With nine morning dedications and 10 evening prayers totalling 43 minutes I wonder about the longevity of the contents, but I am sure that the structure will help some folk as a prayer aid - certainly using the CD during a retreat is an option. This is a niche release that obviously wasn't meant to sell by the bucketload, but this CD may well encourage those seeking a traditional aid for their time with God.

I really just wanted to say how much I love this CD - LOVING GOD of morning and evening prayer. The voices are so complementary and the psalms and singing so prayerfully meant - I had a very calm and peaceful start to today. Father Anthony Storey is just wonderful on this CD.
