A five-track EP, produced in 2000 by Albuquerque, New Mexico resident Valeree, whose manager is positive that she has what it takes to keep up with the ever-evolving music scene. On the evidence of this, I’m not too sure. All five tracks here are her own compositions and there’s certainly dance floor appeal to some of them, particularly the dance remix of “Everybody”. The problem is that, far from keeping up with an evolving music scene, the overall feel is the sort of thing that the Tribe were doing in the latter half of the 1990s, so in truth, it’s more a retro vibe that’s going on here. Whilst the vocals are fine and the production is acceptable, there’s still nothing that would take it out of the average groove that it presently inhabits.
