A few years ago, this fabled creature achieved legendary status. Is power and controlled aggression awed some; others mearly sniffed at it and soon forgot that they ever saw it. And now, in 999, the attitude remains. Originally sighted in 1996 on US land, Valuus Pacus has now reard its horned head in Britain. Some will gasp at its low-key magnificence, as they did when it was first seen along with genusmates Greenus Days, Snuffilus and MxusPxus; and some will tut, saying 'Three years ago it may have been impressive, but now - well, we see new beasts to feast our eyes upon. 'Let us hope and pray it is not the latter, for even though this animal lumbers rather than dances, its manner is edifying enough to persuade even the most die-hard anti-punk that it is certainly not on its last legs. And if it wants to reside on these shores, I'm sure that there are enough admirers to welcome it into their homes.
