An intriguing collection of R&B gospel and holy hip hop. It's the R&B cuts which really hit home. "Hold Out, Deliverance (Remix)" by Gabriel Hardeman Delegation features a wonderful diva with small choir responses on the chorus and a bit of rap; "Teach Me" by Donavan is soulful and as good as anything Winans Phase 2 have cut while the club remix of "That's Just Like Him" by Ricky Dillard & New "G" updates the choir sound with a ricocheting groove. There's something for hip hop buffs too with Prime Minister, Camp Quest and Mad Prophets all acquitting themselves well. If you want a cross section of some of the up and coming names in urban gospel, this will do nicely.
