The real deal this one. No whiff of white Californians doing pale immitations of Trenchtown riddims here. Instead, producer Danny Brownie assembles a wonderful bunch of singers and toasters and giving them punchy, rhythmic tracks which exude the sounds of Jamaica today. Check out the girl group Chevelle, with their rapid fire "I've Got The Glow", check out ragamuffin maestro The Prodigal Son, check out the patois professor Moses. Play it loud enough for ALL your neighbours to hear. Surely the best reggae-gospel compilation ever.
