I have to say that "hard music" isn't usually my cup of tea, but I do like some. This album is borderline for me. Unfortunately, the band slip into to some of the clichés of the heavy rock band both lyrically and musically. I got the feeling they wanted to be more forceful with the lyric "And if you don't like it, you can go away"! The production is top quality and the music is full of riffs and growling vocals - slightly reminiscent of Nickleback. Perhaps that's why I cringe a little, because it's not at all bad.
