If I told you that a limited edition of this album went on sale at New Zealand's Parachute Festival and sold out its full consignment of 300 copies in half a day you'll get some idea that Wash are no ordinary band. In fact, in their Kiwi homeland Wash are (or were, they disbanded recently) something of a legend and if you're a fan of rapcore/nu metal you'll definitely want to search out this headspinning compilation which offers an amazing 21 tracks, many of which would have remained unreleased if it wasn't for the diligence of producer Darren Poole who extracted the master tapes from the secular company quagmire into which they had fallen. Too many standouts to list them all though "High Hopes" with its memorable interlocking riffs and an anthemic chorus sounds catchy enough for mainstream radio while the sheer brutal energy and powerful spiritual lyrics make this a truly exceptional hard music celebration. Even if you're not a Kiwi, make sure you search this out.
