'Powehouse' was one of last year's best Christian rock albums, and the news is that all the best tracks are included here. This tape shows the band on stage, at play and explaining their faith and feelings, leaving you with the distinct impression of a group of good guys working their passage. However the tape is not without its faults. Whilst I am the first to acknowledge the musical dynamism of "Independence Day", "Powe­house" and "Desert Rose" only the latter is done real justice. In the interview I would have liked to have heard a little more about the band's doubts and fears, to make them just a little more like the rest of us. The songs are still great, the video's still worth showing, the band are doing their stuff - just a little more under-the-surface material next time please, lads.
