With the departure of Rex Carroll, the veteran metal men have lost one of the great rock axemen but guitarist Barry Graul (helped by guests Jerry McPherson, Dann Huff and others) ensure the guitars are still hot enough to melt a CD player while vocalist Scott Wenzel, so dull on his ill-conceived solo album, is back to full lung power on 'Unveiled'. Production by the super talented bass maestro Jimmy Lee Sloas captures the raw power that has always been Whitecross' forte while there are enough AOR hooks here to ensure 'Unveiled' picks up some rock radio. Love the humorous intro too guys.
