Zerubbabel hails from Atlanta, Georgia and brings a singular focus to his life - expanding God's Kingdom as a family man and hip-hop minister. The project brings a mix of personally challenging rhymes along with encouragements to the church. From the blistering paced delivery of the lead track "Release" to the slower rhymes on the fun-filled and creative "Focus", this album covers a lot of musical and thematic ground. Zerubbabel has a passion to engage with the culture yet remain strong to the Gospel in tracks like the highly Scriptural "Hidden N Christ" and "Take The City Back". In the later, Zerubbabel fires off rhymes to see the city turned around with the light of Christ, concluding, "We're gonna take this city back. . . if they don't come to the Church then we'll meet them where they're at". There are a range of beats varying from the looping electronic rolls in the well-versed, "Pilgrims", to the a cappella "Why Can't They See". The albums ends with the contemporary sounds of "I Know You Coming Back" reflecting on our need for God before he returns.
