I have just heard of this sad news. We met Rob when he was in Jersey working alongside Alan with the Trapdoor Theatre Company. He came back to Jersey several times after that working on his own material. I am amazed at how much he had packed into his life for the Lord and know that he has touched many lives and will continue to. The Lord had other plans for him, maybe that is why he did so much, knowing he had only limited time on this earth. 'No more pain, no more suffering, see you in Heaven Rob'

We remember hearing Rob was very poorely at Springharvest 2006 Minehead and we prayed for him in the little prayer room.God gave me a vision of angels surrounding his bed and Jesus standing in the midst. Despite the terrible loss of a much loved husband & Father and a talented man of God praise God that Rob is no longer suffering or in pain but in heaven praisng and worshipping Jesus knowing that soon he'll be along side his family and friends who love the lord as much as he does.

Its heart breaking to hear the sad news that the world has lost such an amazing human being, I have seen him and the lacey theatre company at spring harvest a few times and it truly is one of the highlights of the week. My love and prayers go out to his family who I am sure are comforted by the knowledge that he is with his heavenly father. What an inspiration he was and will continue to be in my life and indeed many others.

I was very shocked and saddened when I heard of Robs death on Thursday. Rob performed at OCF a few times over the years challenging and touching many lives. Our prayers are thoughts are with Sandra and the children.

What a terrible loss to the world. Rob was a man who could communicate with a passion that we rarely see today. His delivery was dynamic, his faith profound, his energy boundless, his enthusiasm contagious, his creativity boundless, his memory capacious, his expressions countless, his interpretation ultra-contemporary, his performance rivetting. I will never forget the first time I saw him perform the Bible in 60 minutes – how I wish I had videoed it.

In our sadness we say, “Why, Lord?

In our humility we say, “Your will be done, Lord, though we do not understand.”

Lord, you give and take away; we thank you for Rob and his wonderful way of sharing Your word at Street level. Rob has inspired our children and our love and prayers go out to his wife and family.
