The editor is rather harsh. I lost my only copy and like another post - I found this page solely because I was hoping to find somewhere, somehow another chance to find another copy. I love the melodie and the scripture put to music. I miss being able to listen to this CD - I mourn the loss.

My wife owned this CD at the time of our marriage. Once I listened to it, I ran it "end-to-end" countless times in the car. My heart was cut to the quick when I accidentally broke the disc several years ago. I've missed "Psalms" greatly ever since.
The editor's review is too harsh and misses the point -- the music and lyrics soothe and edify the soul (a rare commodity in our age of the mindless babbling and musical ineptness that characterizes much of the "music industry's" offerings -- even "Christian" music!).
Just chill-out and enjoy the Psalms.

This CD has been an inspiration to many I have had listen to it. I bought one years ago for my Nephew (age 4 at the time) when he was having bad nightmares. We put this CD on for him at night and he never had another nightmare. He is 10 now and still has the CD and listens to it often. Even though he does not need it at night anymore. He loves how the scriptures are sang. Just like David sang out to God in Praise. I have been able to find one more copy for myself, but wish I could find more for friends who have listened and liked.

This CD is a family favorite. Am just disappointed I only bought 2 copies, and cannot find it anymore. The kids have grown and left home and all want their own copy.Wish it was still sold in the local Christian Bookstores. I think you better stick your headphones on,kick back, relax and enjoy a wonderful CD

Your commentary/rating on this album is more pitiful than you try to make the album out to be. In fact, the reason that I found this page was by searching for the combination of folks who put the album together--why was I searching? To see if there was another similar collection of psalms in a similar fashion. There are many who enjoy the type of sound you call a "monumental disappointment" but more importantly, the tracks include only scripture. What do you know, some listeners enjoy hearing only scripture set to music (possibly as the psalmists had intended, huh?)!! I guess all you want is more and more contemporary Christian music that starts and ends with "I" instead of starts and ends with "He!" Your review is the actual monumental error.
