What a disappointing review by Tony May, which incidentally I came across whilst trying to find the words and music for these songs which have ministered to me SO GREATLY since I bought this some 20 years ago when I was early 20s. I play drums, piano and sing and like rock, rock n roll, blues, classical amongst other genres. But this, if you love your saviour and want to come into His presence, is for me the ULTIMATE encouragement to run the race, ESPECIALLY when I need that encouragement. Does exactly what it says on the tin. Focus off me, onto the Beautiful Saviour - REJOICE & BE GLAD has been God's blessing to me every time I hear it. Thank you Lord for using these men, these songs and this recording of them to encourage and bless me, I just need to find all the words now so I can sing along and be even more blessed!

Grew up in an orphanage in Ireland run my an american Christian Mission. The couple taking care of me used to play Scottish Festival of male voice praise. they had at least two LPs. They also played JT Adams and the Men of Texas, and jack Ward piano medley. Would love to get CD's of this music. Falling asleep listenening to this music from their room had a lasting impression on me.

Please let me know when this CD is available again. Also I am looking for a hymn called "Why Was He There" which is to the same melody as "Be Still My Soul" (Finlandia) sung by an all-male choir. Thanks~!

I also love these men and their music! I have copied the lyrics to "Why Was He There?" from my record and have all but 1 or 2 phrases that I "guessed at". I would love to send them, if you would want them. (or is there a more reliable source?) I would also like to hear what titles of old records you have (I have 3) -rg

I have three very old albums that my parents gave me as a boy. They are worn to the point that I don't think they can be copied. Would like to find a place were they can be reproduced or it possible replaced with CD's. Our critic can not know the impact these albums have had in my spiritual growth, my love for Gospel music and my enjoyment. Those cannot be measured.

I would love to get on CDs all the recordings ever made by the Scottish Festival of male Voice Praise and also the All Britain Festival of Male Voice Praise. Are they available anywhere?

I also am looking for the CDs. If they are ever available again, please let me know. I ordered some CDs from the Scottish Festival and they were not what I wanted, although great music. God bless!

I love male voice choirs,Scotland was my home country untill 1970...I had the awsome experience sing with the Scottish Male Voice choir under the leadership of James McRoberts at the Maryhill Tabernacle in Glasgow at the male voice festival...sadly this kind of worhip music is being replaced by a secular kind of music.....praise the Lord

My dear father Bob Docherty was associated with that original choir in Scotland. He often spoke of Mr MacRoberts. He was buried last friday June 6th in Adelaide Australia. At his funeral we played The Male Voice rendition of "Oh Love that will not let me go" as I remembered how much he loved it. The Scottish Choir may not have pleased our critic but it was achingly beautiful in its Harmonies and the gravel of the accents.

I have been looking for old recordings for this group for ages and was thrilled to find this site this morning. Several of my Mom's Scottish cousins in Ayrshire were part of earlier versions of this choir in the 1940s and 50s. My husband and I are retired Trans World Radio missionaries
