Roly Johnson Bell, Shane Pincher, Andy Downton minister in Belarus

THREE MIDLANDS musicians undertook a tour of the former Soviet state of Belarus, taking in 40 tons of humanitarian aid and playing gospel concerts in schools. Roly Johnson Bell, Shane Pincher and Andy Downton went into the troubled area from 25th September to 4th October. Faced with spiralling inflation the impoverished people have reverted to barter with a bag of sugar bartered to provide a family's food supplies for a week. CR
