Support for Rick Elias, now diagnosed with brain cancer

RENOWNED singer, songwriter and founding member of A Ragamuffin Band, Rick Elias, has been diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. Friends and colleagues have organised a benefit concert in Franklin, Tennessee designed to help defray the enormous expenses associated with the treatment of the disease. A Ragamuffin Benefit for Rick Elias: The Jesus Record Live concert event is slated for 2nd February 2019, at Christ Community Church and will feature performers from the original recording, including Elias, Amy Grant, Michael W Smith, A Ragamuffin Band (Elias, Mark Robertson, Jimmy Abegg, and Aaron Smith) and others. CR

Do you remember seeing Rick, with the Ragamuffins & Rich Mullins at the Cross Rhythms Fest? Those guys made you glad to say you listened to rock music written by Christians...They kept it real. I guess the £$ raised isn't going to keep him alive but it will pay the med bills which will make his last days as pain free as possible, before he earns his eternal reward.
