Orchestrally orientated album 'The BQE' for Sufjan Stevens

CULT STATUS singer/songwriter Sufjan Stevens has the album 'The BQE' released in the UK through Rough Trade. The orchestrally orientated project, inspired by New York's Brooklyn-Queens Expressway, was described by one reviewer as being "as impressive as it is ambitious, syncretising various 20th century US classical strains, English intelligent techno, perhaps even echoes of industrial and marching band sounds. CD and LP packages come with separate elements of the total overall masterwork, so the full experience demands both." CR
