British rapper Jelz set to release high profile single

LONDON-based rapper Jelz has returned to the scene with a single, "Fight Till It's Over". The track has already been featured on BBC Introducing. "Fight Till It's Over" was produced at studios belonging to Jools Holland with Dutch producer Guus Hoevenaars (50 Cent, Missy Elliot) and Kieran Guy (drummer for British pop singer JONES) and features vocals by Off Balance artist Zulu.

Jelz said, "The UK urban music scene is at an all time high, however lyrically what are we feeding our young people? What values and life lessons are we informally teaching them? In my class room music provides an excellent platform for young people to express themselves, however at the same time we are able to discuss and challenge their views whilst also attempting to show a positive alternative and outlet. They don't have to cuss and swear, degrade and put down women or glorify the hustle of the streets. As such legends that have come before us Michael Jackson, Bob Marley let us use music to yes express ourselves but most of all positively empower, encourage, teach, inspire and progress." CR
