I worked with Frankie in the 1960s at the GPO telephones in Central exchange, Birmingham and would sometimes pick or drop him off in Mayfield Road in my old Morris 1000 van. I was very shy and Frankie chatted up one of the telephone operators for me and we are still married after 48 years. We both had very fond memories of Frankie, for a long I had intended to contact him to catch up and let him know that we were both still together (and thank him). I was so sad when I finally decided to contact him a couple of years only to find he had died. A lovely man, good fun to work with, very happy person, who loved his family.

Frank, still think of you today. You are not forgotton and never will be. Pass by your resting place and send our thoughts to you. Thoughts still with your family mate.

Frank made a difference in my life just by being Frank. You and I have to do the same to continue his legacy and make sure that all those around us are positively affected as well. Thank you Stewart family for all you did those years ago and you are still doing now. God bless.

I surched for informations about the stewart family because I know them from their visits in Germany about 30 years ago. I am sad to hear that Frank died. If there is any member of the family (Phil, Gloria, Ashmore, Timothy, Del) who likes to contact me - please do it.
