US singer/songwriter Lauren DeMaio gets song from a text message

THE SINGER and songwriter from Rockland, New York, Lauren DeMaio, has released the single "In My Free Fall". She recently wrote, "'In My Free Fall' began from a text message I received from a friend. The text read: 'Dude, I'm so proud of you! Keep your eyes locked on The Father even as you free fall.' I felt like I was in a season of exactly that, free falling. The song was written as a reminder to myself - reminding me that God has control over all of my life's circumstances, even when I'm unsure about my next step."
