Christian band Ooberfuse team up with Buddhist punk protest band Rebel Riot

ELECTRO pop team Ooberfuse have teamed up with Yangon punk-protest band Rebel Riot to highlight the perpetuation of serious human rights violations in Burma. A three-song EP/video package 'Freedom From Fear' has been made. Said Ooberfuse's Cherrie Anderson about the filming of the videos, "Whilst Burma has been isolated by the international community because of the violation of human rights perpetrated by the military leaders, this isolation over the decades has insulated traditional Burmese culture from outside influences. It was like going back in time filming in the ancient city of Bagan. However, it was impossible to ignore the sinister presence of the regime as there were 'tourist police' wherever we went."
