Tye Tribbett follows Da'T.R.U.T.H. into moral controversy

FURTHER revelations about the moral character of leading American gospel acts have rocked the American scene following the earlier announcement that best selling rapper Da'T.R.U.T.H. was taking a sabbatical because of a "moral indiscretion". It has now emerged that Tye Tribbett, leader and founder of the Greater Anointing (GA) choir, has also fallen into sin. It has been revealed that in May, Tribbett's wife Shante found out that he was having an extra marital affair with a member of GA who had previously had a child by another member of the choir. When Tye's adultery came to light, it was agreed that Da'T.R.U.T.H., a long-time friend of Tye and a married minister, would counsel both Tribbett and his wife. But instead of bringing a reconciliation between the estranged couple, Da'T.R.U.T.H. began an extra-marital affair with Shante.

In a separate development Da'T.R.U.T.H.'s record company Cross Movement Records have announced "the suspension of the promotion and forwarding of the artist, minister and ministry of Da'T.R.U.T.H. aka Emanuel Lambert Jr, due to recent findings of moral failure in his marriage." So far neither Tye Tribbett nor his record company Integrity Music have made a public statement about the revelations. CR

Yes, I say leave the man alone! No one is perfect. Not you, me or anyone! we have all sinned and come short of the glory of God. God is an amazing being and no matter what the situation, he can deliver you. All you need to do is trust in him! I believe Tye does. I also believe that Tye has done a lot to help many people, Christians and non-Christians and for this, I am personally thankfull. I have watched some of his ministry and music videos. His song "everything" with the G.A is really touching and has been a true inspiration. I have watched the video, several thousand times now over the last month (yes, I said it, several thousand times!) and I will continue watching it, each time I feel I need a spiritual boost in my Christian life. In this case, every single day!. I would like to personally thank Tye for singing the song with so much personallity...Keep up the good works Tye, God has already forgiven you, therefore, stay focused on him!!!

yeah man i really like your comment. We all fall sometimes, even though it should not be encouraged. For this particular reason Christ came to die. He died for our past present future sins. Tye here has impacted and won countless souls with his ministry, yet his acusers can count the souls they have they hav won themselves. Oh God if it be your will let everything -the choir and band and everthing - be restored.

As Christians we all should have a certain code of conduct. What I believe happened here is well meaning Christians falling into sin. Jeremiah says that the heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked...who can know it? Which is to say that we can't even trust our own heart. What most consider to be normal behavior is really lack of good boundaries. I don't know the intimate details but many a fall could be prevented if people didn't put themselves in compromising situations in the first place.
A lot of situations dont seem compromising if our focus is on something else. I noticed that Tye and his wife apparently "counseled" the woman and D.A. TRUTH counseled Tye and his wife.....who knows what that involved but I can assure you that there was too much intimate involvement of all parties which is probably what led to the affairs in the first place....a single woman doesn't need to be counseled by her married, male choir director. That's just asking for trouble. Take a lesson from that...

God knows everything, when we try to keep things hidden, he knows everything. God is also a forgiving God also, we as christians have to confess will our mouths and keep our heads going in the right direction. A minister is a man he was a minister, Was it right to cheat? But God forgives ministers just like he does for people who are not ministers. Keep your head up Tye, I'm a young minister and with Gods help, he has helped my path stay clear from any obsticles.

NEVER ALLOW THE FAULTS OR SINS OF CHURCH PEOPLE TO MAKE YOU LOSE YOUR RIGHTFUL PLACE IN HEAVEN.
ACCEPT CHRIST AND LEAD A RIGHTEOUS LIFE AND SHOW THE CHURCH PEOPLE HOW ITS DONE.

This is why I can't stand or sit church ppl. First u walk around like you so high and mighty and don't do no wrong. The first to judge and point fingers. You live by "parts" of the bible that are convenient to yo life. Church folks worse than the worldly ppl. Throw the first stone if u sinless. Cause if u think it u did it. U should be coming closer to ya ppl and helping. Church ppl ugh. Its ppl out here touching lil kid and get charged with a probation and a dude selling weed and cocaine gets 25 years+ . From baptist to holiness are full of fake ppl. 144 thousand.

Church people are normal people too, you do realise that? Although some may act high & mighty the majority do not. You can not stereotype a whole group of people because of the actions of two people.
