Chuck Girard to fly to Australia to film TV special and DVD.

CALIFORNIA's Jesus Music veteran Chuck Girard, fondly remembered for his pioneering albums with Love Song and his later solo releases, is flying to Brisbane, Australia in November to record a television special and DVD. Girard will be working with a band of Australian musicians consisting of Newsboys founder Corey Pryor, Matt Magee, Ben Dennien, Brendon Telcham and Naomi Pryor. Joining Chuck on stage in November will be his daughter Alisa Girard, from CCM hitmakers ZOEgirl. The concert to be filmed takes place on 19th November. Said Girard about the musicians who will be accompanying him, "This is the best band I've ever played with. They've brought a fresh face to my classic songs. Some of the material I've recorded I was never happy with and these young guys just picked up their instruments and stared playing the way I originally heard the songs but never found anyone who could play them like that."
