The global music industry still in financial decline.

THE GLOBAL recorded music business has seen another major downturn in sales in 2003. Internationally the industry fell 7.6 per cent in 2003 from the previous year. Of the five major recorded music markets (USA, Japan, UK, France and Germany) only the UK showed a small increase (0.1 per cent) and the business which was once a $40 billion industry is now down to $32 billion. CR
