POPULAR ROOTS artist Jonathan Day is currently in Walsall studio Stairway Music recording his second CD. The album, as yet untitled and produced by Day and Paul Hodson of Stairway Music, will be released on new Christian music label Nulife, soon to be launched with an album by heavy rock team A.N.D. Guesting on Jonathan's album are rising Iris musician lain Archer and Pink Dandelion's fiddle player Phil Wright. It will have a more rootsy, slightly rockier sound than his previous offering. Jonathan's popular touring band Eye Of The Storm are no more and in their place the multi-instrumentalist has formed a new band, with Simon Smith on guitar/bass and John Large on drums/percussion, who are currently looking for a name.
