Mahalia Jackson honoured by UK organisation GMIA

GOSPEL GREAT Mahalia Jackson is being honoured by the UK's Gospel Music Industry Alliance (GMIA) with several different initiatives. Mahalia Remembered, a touring performance and multi-media presentation, will feature guest vocalists, film clips and a mini pictorial display. Christmas With Mahalia's Songs Of Peace, Love And Joy is a concert evening featuring Kym Mazelle and the Love And Joy Gospel Choir due to be held in Liverpool on 9th December 2011. CR
