Drummer Lori Peters leaves Skillet, replaced by Jen Ledger

THE DRUMMER with popular American rock band Skillet, Lori Peters, has left the group. Said Skillet's frontman John Cooper, "Lori told us about two months ago that she felt that it was time for her to come off the road and start a new chapter in her life. We are of course going to miss her! Lori's last show with us was New Year's Eve." The new drummer is 18 year old Jen Ledger. CR

Lori is one hell of a beast on drums n I wish her the best of luck in her future endeavors! She will be so missed. But, on the next page.... Ledger is not only a queen wit the sticks, but such a range wit her vocals. Gotta give tic to take tac!!! Live to see a live show with both beating on the cans!!!!! Love Em Both

We will all miss Lori and I hope she finds the new chapter in her life. I personally prefer Lori then Jen but things happen and it can't be changed so need to respect Lori about her leaving. All in all Skillet is a great band no matter who is in it they still rock and I got shirts, cd's, posters ect. so I'm a major fan of Skillet and I can't wait for the new cd and the next concert here in Arizona.

Lori was a great drummer and so is Jen and there talents are both incredible I love the band and they have awesome music. Skillet Rocks to John and Korey Cooper Lori Peters, Ben Kasica, Seth Morrison, Ken Steorts, Jonathan Salas, Trey McClurkin, Kevin Haaland and lastly but not least my personal favorite and this is only because I'm a drummer too Jen Ledger!!!
