Jaci Velasquez to release second Spanish album

21 YEAR OLD singing star Jaci Velasquez is set to release her second Spanish language album 'Mi Corazon'. Jaci told Billboard, "It's more my heart on tape. The first single, "Como se Cura Una Herida", is really about my parents' divorce and the whole record is very much my life this year." The album features songs written by Latin hitmakers Rudi Perez and Desmond Child, as well as Christian music songwriter Mark Heimermann. The album also features a duet with Angel Perez, lead singer of Son By Four.

In the Billboard interview, Jaci commented, "I'm aware I'm going to be criticised a lot, that people may say, 'She's not Christian because she sings about love.' But it was important to say life is not perfect, God is not perfect. As humans, we're going to fail. And that's the way it is."
